What do you think about rangers shotgun? After hitting demigod as solo ranger I felt like a lot of my kills were from the shotgun and I still can't tell if it's too strong or not

I think the crossbow AWP ranger can one-shot a class from above, I often play like this and every such hit to the body or head no longer seems funny

Bard is S tier in solo and only gets stronger the more players you have on your team. I’m a bard main

I play a lot of solo druid, and you pretty much have an entirely correct read on the class. I'd say druid is much worse than you think it is after a certain skill level, though. The main problem I have is the total lack of ranged options. I can moonfire the shit out of a barb and not even get halfway through his hp bar by the time I run out of charges. The treant is too slow, the wall sucks, and the panther is way too squishy. The only strategy I've found that can beat barbs (and it's EXTREMELY inconsistent/high skill) is bait their swing - one panther hit - Switch to rat before their second hit. One achilles' franny axe hits me and it's over. If you're already in an animal form with a DoT on you and you accidentally switch to rat, you're dead. Druid imo scales the worst with gear out of any class. The only saving grace of the class is evasiveness, which can be cut short in an instant if you take a single unlucky hit from anything while in rat. Sometimes a goblin archer will be the american fucking sniper and yoink your gearset just like that. Warlock to me is the much easier and more effective version of druid, they're so much better at the wittling-down game, have a better summon, and have insane mid-fight healing. It seems like druid was designed for the same hit and run style, but wasn't actually given any options to chip someone down before committing to a fight; it's really just waiting for them to do something horrendously stupid, get third partied, or fucking up yourself, which is really easy to do on such a wired up 300 apm jackrabbit class.

Cleric main here, don't forget the power of having resurrect, everyone underestimates the ability to rapidly revive teammates on the spot instead of looking for rez tables.

i think druids depends on your class, if you are a barb or rogue fighting a bear druid, it seems literally impossible to hit them without getting one tapped.

As a ranger main, I completely agree about the trios situation against cleric. What usually happens is Cleric out heals any damage I do, my frontline dies and I end up 1v2 or 1v3. I've been wishing ranger would get a perk or skill that reduces healing like a bleed or something, for a while, because cleric healing in trios is just way too strong.

I think warlock solo should definitely be higher, purely because its so efficient at killing bosses and just overall survivability. Phantomize can save you from mobs, players and bosses from insta killing you, and has good ranged spells thats great at keeping people at a distance so you can avoid lots of conflicts and rat out to an escape

I stopped playing solo bard when resourcefulness gear was nerfed. The fact that you playing 100 games and have to play like thousand songs is just obnoxious, the skillful part knowing your range and when you can cast your shriek or lament, allegro or other song i forgot its name. But having to rebuff yourself like 5-7 times (if not more, and its def more) a match is just annoying. You can build full resourcefulness build but i feel like its trolling losing such a good base stats from other gear, so rebuffing yourself like 10 times a match id rather play another class. Its just not fun to do that over and over again in solo.

Its so funny to read comments from pupils that with foam in their mouth defending their op class and gaslighting you into "skill issue" and "shut up i dont want my class nerf" i guess meta riding will always be the part of this game, which is understandable but like super cancer🙃 Luckily theres enough unbiased people in this sub like repoze(🍌 riding alert) who can be unbiased and honest about state of the game so i can put a bubble and isolate myself from part of delusional dnd playerbase.

I swear the only thing they should do to hunting traps is make them a 75% slow for 2-4 seconds, rather than completely holding you to that spot for 15 seconds

Druid without gear is straight up garbage in a fight, and druid with gear isn't as busted as people think. The only real thing it has going for it is ratting, and boohoo I can't force this one class to fight me the game is ruined waaaah :(

druid is op in solos because they don't play to fight they play to rat or 3rd party id at least say S tier a good druid just does these things but if you're a good player you just don't fight knowing that there's a druid in the lobby. the fighting aspect druids aren't really up there but the mobility and information they can get just by being everywhere in the map so fast they basically control the whole map its stupid but I get it they aren't hard to fight but a lot of druids just run most of the time.

Points to add: - Another reason Cleric isn't higher in solos is because Warlock isn't as oppressive as it once was, and Cleric took virtually 0 damage from curses due to pre-nerf pers and pfe. - Rat heal glitch is the main reason competitive Druids are "oppressive" when it comes to resetting. Additionally, you can get 50-60 health as a rat by stacking max health, which means torches and explosive bottles won't kill them. - I think a healthier approach to "nerfing cleric", especially in anticipation for arena, would be to nerf it slightly and bring heal Druid up to where Cleric is at so that way there is more support diversity. This way the community wouldn't feel pressured into having a single mandatory class in trios. Hence why no one complains about frontliner metas because 2-3 meta options is generally enough variety for people. It's better to have variety within a specific role rather than remove it entirely and make the game more shallow and one dimensional.
